After a qualifying week beset by poor weather, Festival of Motorcycling organisers will be hoping for a smooth opening race day.
Saturday’s schedule features the Bennetts Senior Classic TT and Dunlop Lightweight Classic TT races.
There is also a special demonstration lap by Bruce Anstey after he missed this year’s TT because of illness. The Kiwi will be riding the Padgett’s RCV that he raced at the 2016 TT.
John McGuinness will also be undertaking a special lap, riding the 1978 Sports Motorcycles Ducati that Mike Hailwood rode to victory in the F1 TT 40 years ago.

1pm: Bennetts Senior Classic TT (four laps)
3pm: CTT Junior/ MGP Lightweight/ MGP Ultra Lightweight and all MGP Newcomers practice (one lap)
3.45pm: John McGuinness Mike Hailwood lap
4.30pm: Dunlop Lightweight Class TT (four laps)
6.15pm: CTT Superbikes/ MGP Senior/Junior/Lightweight/Ultra-lightweight/All newcomers practice (one lap)
7.30pm: Roads scheduled to open
