Festival of Motorcycling organisers have tweaked tomorrow, Saturday’s, opening race day schedule after Friday afternoon’s qualifying session was lost to more poor weather.

The roads will close as planned at 11am, but a practice session will kick off the day’s proceedings at 11.30am instead of the four-lap Bennetts Senior Classic TT. This will now be run at 12.45pm.

There’s also be a near-hour delay to Saturday’s other race, the Dunlop Lightweight Classic TT, which is now due to start at 4.25pm.

The schedule will be reviewed again following this evening’s qualifying session, which is due to start at 6.20pm with roads closing at 6.
