Having clinched the club’s first silverware in 26 years last week, RYCOB were presented with the JCK Combination Two trophy on Wednesday night.

The presentations came after Youthie beat Douglas and District 2-1 thanks to goals from Martyn Murphy and a stunner from Tony Corlett.

Kevin Doyle’s penalty had given D and D the advantage for more than 70 minutes of the match before the northerners struck twice late on to maintain their unbeaten record.

There were goals galore in the division’s other three games. Malew beat Union Mills 2-6 at Garey Mooar.

Goal machine Tim Collister adding a hat-trick to his tally for the season joining Ian Mahon, Josh Clarke and Dean Kinley on the scoresheet for the southerners.

Onchan and Pulrose shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw. On target for Pully were Joe and Owen Canipa, the former hitting a brace.

Michael United and Marown also contrived to produce a score draw, the pair’s match at Balleira Road finishing 2-2. Goals from Jack Smith and Joe Saunders made up the hosts’ total.

In Canada Life Combination One there was two games. Douglas Athletic beat Laxey 5-0, Mark Wolfenden taking his tally to 14 goals in four games with all five in the win.

Douglas Royal edged the evening’s other match with Braddan 4-3.
