It’s a potentially huge day at the top of JCK Division Two, with several of the leading sides locking horns on Saturday afternoon.

The promotion picture could become significantly clearer over the course of the 90 minutes, as the business end of the season fast approaches. League leaders Pulrose face arguably the toughest test of their title credentials when they travel north to take on fellow challenges Ramsey at Ballacloan.

A win for the hosts would see them close the gap to Pully to three points with a game in hand, but victory for the Reds would edge them even closer to promotion to the Premier League.

Waiting in the wings to pounce on any Pully slip-up are RYCOB who could return to the top should they beat Foxdale and the Reds lose to Ramsey. That will be easier said than done though, with Dale holding Youthie to a 2-2 draw last time they met.

Should another draw play out, it would give Onchan the chance to close the gap further on the top four should the Os get the better of Ayre United in Andreas. However, the Tangerines fought well against Pully last weekend and could well get something out of this match.

With only one point separating them in the table, Douglas and District v Gymns looks like being a close game at Noble’s Park which could go either way, as does the clash between Union Mills and Colby at Garey Mooar. The same could also be said for the other game in Division Two, as the bottom two sides - Michael United and Governor’s Athletic - do battle at Bemahague.
