Michael Rutter will reach a personal landmark in the opening Superstock race today (Tuesday).

The 51-year-old from Wordsley will make his 83rd TT start when he gets underway for the three-lap big bike race. In doing so, he will match his dad Tony's overall total.

Michael made his TT debut in 1994 on a Honda RC45 and has to date racked up seven victories, coincidentally also the same number as his dad.
