Four people were arrested for drink or drug driving offences over the course of Saturday night.

The police said that these were from either ’proactive vehicle stops’ or checks carried out after officers attended a crash.

’Ultimately if you choose to drink or drug drive one way or another, sooner or later you will likely come to our attention, at that point it’s too late,’ the police stated.

’Fortunately none of those in custody hurt themselves or others as a result of their choices’.
