Scammers have sent out emails purporting to be from the Manx police force.

It includes the Isle of Man Constabulary Insignia.

A police spokesman said: ‘We can confirm that the email is a scam. The name shown below is indeed a serving officer, but the message is illegitimate.

‘Anyone receiving this email can submit it to [email protected]. No explanation is needed for submissions – the emails can simply be forwarded on
