A 22-year-old Douglas man has had a community service order revoked after failing to complete any hours.
Anthony Kevin Wiseman, of Castlemona Aveue, was handed the order in January for two counts of cannabis possession and one of provoking behaviour, but he failed to turn up for his community service induction on February 18.
However, the court heard that he is now serving a prison sentence, imposed for causing grievous bodily harm, and is not due for release until December.
He is also due to be sentenced at the higher court for an offence of affray on July 30.
Magistrates decided to revoke the community service order and take no further action after taking into account the fact that Wiseman is already serving a sentence and has another pending sentence.
