A serious road accident meant that roads on the outskirts of Douglas were shut early this morning.

Kewaigue Road, from the junction with Old Castletown Road (turn off to Port Soderick) to Fort North roundabout was closed as well as the New Castletown Road from the Fort North roundabout to the junction with Anagh Coar Road traffic lights.

They are open now.
