More than 360 people are getting ready to take part in Race the Sun tomorrow, raising funds for The Children’s Centre.

Thirty-six teams of 10 will start at sunrise and finish before sunset in Peel, covering the 100 miles of Raad ny Foillan, the island’s coastal footpath.

The long running race has been organised by The Children’s Centre since 2008 and has become a regular part of the endurance event calendar.

The teams will be setting off from Peel at 5am, be arriving at The Cronk between 6-8am, Maughold between 9-11am, Laxey between 11am-2pm, Douglas between 1-2pm, Port St Mary between 3-5pm, Port Erin between 4-6pm and then making their way around to Peel from 5:30-9:30pm.
